The app
Frame Hamster's scan, fixes and FPS recordings stay on your PC. Nothing about your PC, your games or your recordings is sent anywhere.
The app talks to the internet for two small things only: checking version.json on this site for
updates, and, once, activating a Pro key. Activation sends the key and an anonymous PC id (a one-way hash of your
Windows install id), so a key can be limited to 2 PCs.

No tracking cookies and no analytics scripts. The free download is supported by banner ads from Adsterra (family-friendly only); the ad network may use cookies inside its own ad frame. Pro purchases and donations go through PayPal, under PayPal's privacy policy. We keep the PayPal email and order id of Pro buyers so we can help if a key gets lost.
